Question LG Digital Optical Audio to RCA audio issues

Hi Guys,

I've been having this annoying issue with trying to get audio out of my 2017 LG TV (43UJ651V model), through a Soundcraft mixer and into some Yamaha HS5s that I have. At the moment I have an optical digital audio out connecting to a digital to analog audio converter from amazon

And then a small RCA to jack cable going from that into one of the line inputs on the mixer. For some reason nothing is coming through and I've messed around with all the settings on the TV to make sure its got the right output settings and the mixer is working fine with anything else I put through it. Am I missing something here?

The soundcraft mixer is an EPM-6 by the way!

Did you try all of the settings described in the manual in the section "SOUND OUT"?

Is the TV´s firmware up to date?

Does it work without the mixer?

That DAC will only work if the TV is set to output in PCM stereo.
You may also have to turn the optical output on and the TV speakers off.
