lg g4 turns off by itself and then turns on by itself

my lg g4 suddenly started having this problem 3 days ago without any apparent issue. it turned off by itself and stayed so for many hours. i tried turning it on, but in vain. then after a few hours it turned on by itself. Now i am constantly having this issue. it turns off, and some times stays off for just five minutes and then turns back on, but sometimes it even dies for like hours. also the very first time it did so it became very hot, the battrry was some 80% but dropped to 20, now its charging very slow. i havent installed any new app, and i didnt dropped my phone either. it is a at&t version, working in another country on another network.

Sounds like there is a hardware problem if it is heating up and doing this. If under warranty, contact the manufacturer. If not, then I would try a local tech.

no that just happened for the very first time. now it doesnt heats up. just turning off by itself continuously for the last three days after every half an hour or so, and then doesnt turn on , but sometimes does turn on after trying a lot

You mentioned in your post that it became very hot. Even if that only happened once, it could have damaged something, leaving the device unable to stay on for any period of time.

which means my last bet is to go to some repairing shop 🙁 anyway, thanks for the answer
