I'm pretty sure you're wrong about the size of the Cam Plus battery. It's 1200 or 1100 mAh - I keep seeing both reported - and as a supplement to to the existing 2800 mAh the G5 ships with, you have total of about 4000 to work with without charging. It isn't 4000 by itself. If LG could fit a 4000 mAh battery into its device, it would ship that way.

What I don't know is whether the 2800 mAh battery it comes with (or more importantly, the extra one they're offering at launch) can also fit in the Cam Plus. I don't see why it wouldn't, but no one is talking about it.

I was adding the 1,200 mAh battery in the Cam Plus with the 2,800 mAh removable battery, which can be switched between the Cam Plus and the stock G5 bottom section. As far as i know, the extra battery being offered at launch is the same 2,800 mAh battery, and should also fit inside the Cam Plus module.
