LG K7 will start to move app to sdcard and stop

I have an LG K7 (same thing as a LG Tribute 5) running Lollipop. Since I have never rooted a phone, I'm hesitant to do so.
I know many apps can't be moved and the button is grayed out. It has only been this one game, House of Fun Slots, that starts running the move to sd card function and then stops saying "unable to move program". I don't want to lose this app,but I may have to as it takes up about 550mb.

How much free space is there on the SdCard? Most systems won't allow them to fill to capacity.

try giving a try to Link2Sd or AppMgr . It would be better to have your phone rooted so that you can move system apps to sd card. Having a non-rooted phone will restrict some apps from moving. and make sure your sd card is -r/w and not -r
