Okay, who wants to try and guess the price..
Also, do you think it'll get to (or far in) the mainstream market?

A TV like that would be nice... but with the cash it would cost, you could do so many other things.

Well, Mitsubishid had make 3D ready DLP tv's with 65, 73 and 82 inches for a long time now. And they are nvidia 3D vision compatible ...
And did i mention they cost like 5 times less than what it's expected on this tv?

WOW the picture on that tv is really believable! It looks like that Asian woman is standing right there in the room! lol

[citation][nom]Gin Fushicho[/nom]480Hz.... I want that for a non 3-D TV, that'd be awesome.[/citation]

The second the refresh rate is over 120Hz it's a 3d TV....

Not true. There are plenty of 600hz non-3D plasmas. Google it.
However, none of these display 480 nor 600 true updated images per second. These TV's interpolate "calculated" images between the existing frames to create a smoother playback.

iMax Real3D movies are true 480hz movies with 240 frames per second for each eye. You never once notice the image flicker watching Avatar on iMax Real3D for example. It will take a while before we get this standard for our homes. Right now the home 3D standard is 120hz, 60 frames per second for each eye.

Wow! thanks for sharing this info. Can’t imagine how they set this up and provide a real cinema-like experience at home because of the screen size.
