(LG) phone wont turn on without charger

When there is no charger plugged into my cheap page plus LG Phone it will not turn on, when the charger is plugged into an outlet, it works perfectly, whats up? should I buy a new battery?

Check the battery, try out a friend's if you have the same phone.

It is probably a battery problem, but first it is best to try another sim/battery in there first. That way you can make sure its not a phone circuit problem as it is a battery problem.
