That's it, I'm finding a rich widow lady and be her man servant. Just kidding, but I looked at a 3D demo setup at Best Buy, they work good. This thing has to be over the top in price though.

That is what I call a great display - the hot girl in the front looks like she is popping out of the screen!!!!

Best 3D ever!

Very nice.. how much?

If the 47" have the same resolution than the 84" it would make some badass monitor.

Too bad there is nothing mainstream that supports these resolutions. Still good to see this stuff come out though.

"...bathe in a dazzling 3,840 x 2,160 resolution." That's great and all for computers and pc gaming but the vast majority of movie or TV camera's don't record in that high of resolution.

[citation][nom]gilbertfh[/nom]With a panel that large the high resolution is almost mandantory to enjoy the picture unless you are sitting 30' away (distance pulled out my butt)[/citation]

True but have you ever seen 1080p at over 100 inches? I have, and as long as you are sitting far enough back to see the whole picture without turning your head you will seen that even 1080p is plenty for a screen over 100 inches.
(FYI, it was an HD DLP projector setup)

Not sure how you guys are calculating this, but 84" 3840x2160 = 4 42" 1920x1080 panels stitched together.. therefore the pixel density would be the same as any 42" 1080p screen

Yeah right, & we'll need to sell our house & mortgage half our life to pay for that thing.

[citation][nom]descendency[/nom]That's 16:10. TVs are 16:9. So 7680x4320. (4320p)[/citation]
So what do we call it after UHD, XHD?
