And of course this has nothing to do (and is never mentioned anywhere in the mainstream), that The European Union is pushing to lower the consuming of electricity by banning devices that are power hungry. Or with the fact that marketing is pushing 4K down our throats just like they tried with 3D.

This has nothing to do with plasmas selling poorly. As long as a product makes profit, there is no reason for a company to stop its production.
