forget "improvements" - this is how it should have been to begin with

Original game would have been great, had they ever finished it. This was the first final fantasy every where you walked down a pretty hallway with zero choices that could be made on "what to do next" besides the main story until the game was over. You got to see a casino planet, but could do anything on it, even though there was an arena and chocobo racing and breeding talked about by the NPC's.

I think they team that delivered Final Fantasy 14, was the same team that delivered Final Fantasy 13. Hopefully this will breath new life into the franchise, but after the last disappointment I have lost faith/

Have they not noticed that FF has not gotten the same reception when they changed the battle system.. IMO.
