Hi All

Looking for some recent advice on the best option for a laptop: mainly used for gaming (fallout 4, etc.). I will be taking it with travelling with me so reasonably small & lightweight would be great. Have put the details below

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
Would like a lightweight, easily portable laptop. Maybe 15"?

3. What screen resolution do you want?


4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Portable

5. How much battery life do you need?
Not the biggest criteria but longer the better


6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
Yes. Medium to High

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Nothing high-intensity

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
Standard. Would like to have a SSD drive to allow quick booting

How would you rate my third link (the Defiance II 14") with the link you gave? They seem to be a similar price?

One concern I have with the Defiance is that I can't find any reviews of the 14" version - not sure if anyone on the forum has any experience of it?

well you got to keep in mind a laptop isn't upgradeable.
only the hard drive and maybe the ram but that doesn't improve gaming performance.
like i said both are good gaming laptops, the defiance is a bit stronger and more portable but idk if its worth the extra 300$.

you got to watch gtx 960m gtx 970m benchmarks and make your choice.

Sorry - which two are you comparing? When I follow the links I see the defiance at £950 and the Apache Pro at £923.16
