Line in toshiba laptop screen

In my toshiba laptop (satellite s55t-B) screen there is a vertical line at some times.Earlier it comes and goes when i move the lid. But now it was there on screen for few seconds. Is this a problem or not? How to repair this?

try to take a screenshot while it's displayed and check the picture on some other screen or moved to a side on yours. if the line is still there on the screenshot it's a graphics card issue else it's a display screen or cable issue

edit: if tilting the screen helped it's probably a cable issue... if you're brave you can order a replacement and change it yourself else take it to a repair shop and they can change that for you.
