Hi,

Did you try installing Windows 7 using a disc or did you used the built in factory image? If you just used the factory image it might had been damaged or corrupted already and you'll need to order a new set of System Recovery disc from HP and it normally cost $30 - $40 depending how early you want to get it. But before you do that try running System Recovery again but this time go to BIOS first and press F9 to load the default setting and run the recovery.
