Locked out bad password

I just bought a Lenovo IdeaPad 110 yesterday. Came home and was setting up. I have my password (or what I thought was my password). It's not working. I have seen where I can boot from USB a password recovery but I do not know how to "boot from USB". Any help appreciated.
