Solved! Logitech z506 rear speaker issues

Hey i recently bought these, and i was wondering why the rear speakers are quieter than the rest, yes i have my 5.1 set up properly. i also tried plugging the rear into the front outlet on the sub and it's still quiet, are my rear's dead?

Sounds normal, rear speakers in 5.1 are just used for fill-in audio and audio coming from the rear, that is mixed lower than the center/L/R channels in most sources.
