Hi everyone,
I've looked for this issue on the forum and haven't found the solution yet so I figured I'd ask myself.
I have a Logitech z506 5.1 speaker set ( https/www.amazon.com/dp/B003VAK1FA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_wDcYAbHX7QFCN ) . I'm looking to connect it to a Samsung UNKU6290 ( https/www.samsung.com/us/televisions-home-theater/tvs/4k-uhd-tvs/55-class-ku6290-6-series-4k-uhd-tv-2016-model-un55ku6290fxza/ )
The info I had found so far led me to a digital to analog converter ( HDMI LPCM 5.1 7.1 To Analog Surround Decoder https/www.amazon.com/dp/B071KXR3G2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fGcYAb4Z0Z0DP ) .
However, upon plugging everything in, I got no sound. The tv has a ARC hdmi out, and the speakers work perfectly fine.
Other threads said plug the speakers individually into the converter but the sub doesn't have a rca plug? The front right doesn't either.
I tried plugging the speakers into the sub then the green black and yellow 3.5 mm into the converter. I tried RCA to 3.5mm cables straight into the converter. No sound.
Theres different tv audio settings, PCM, Bitsream, Dolby Digital and I don't fully understand these settings.
Hoping I can get this working without buying too much more stuff.
Thanks for the help.
