Long lasting Laptop, is it MacBook or a Gaming Laptop?

I found myself interested in two type of Laptops, a MacBook Pro with Retina Display (MGX82) i5 2nd hand 93% battery wear 6000 mAh 47 cycle counts persoal warranty 6 months and an ASUS ROG 4K i7 6th gen (GL502VT) 6 hour (2nd hand around 4 hour and 20 minutes) warranty until September 2017.

However, I do not only seek the beauty of a Laptop, I also seek for it's gaming purposes, which MacBook Pro does not have.

However, I also own a 2014 Alieware right now and (probably less than 3 years, I started using the Laptop early 2015) the battery lost more than 70% of it's battery capacity (replaced one time, after a year of usage, probably around 2016) and it is heavy (which is not really the case for GL502VT, it's slimmer). I am afraid as ASUS ROG may fall to the same pit of the doomed Laptop as it is a gaming laptop, like Alienware (no battery, no mobility feature), which is not the case for MacBook Pro (I also own a 2011 MacBook Pro, and it still runs smoothly, though the battery said it needs to be serviced, but it is relatively still useable when far away from charging socket).

Should I buy MacBook Pro instead? As I will use this laptop for business and went to game center if I wish to play some games?

Thank you very much for any advice you may write on this thread, I will find it as a very helpful.

well, I am actually looking for a review after at least a year of usage, and probably not from Ms. Sherri which I believe does the test extensively and professionally, however, I believe she does not provide a review after a year of usage.
