Looking for a 14inch powerhorse (picky)

I'm a newbie on your forum so please bear with me.
I have to replace my T61p Thinkpad cause its starting to fall apart. As new CPUs (Ivy Bridge) and GPUs (Nvidia Kepler, AMD 7970) have just recently been released it seems like a good time for that.
Unfortunately all laptops I've seen so far do have some major drawback:
- Lenovo Y480: Shitty resolution, no trackpoint
- Sony VAIO E14P: Mediocre GPU, no trackpoint
- HP Elitebook 8470p: Mediocre GPU
- Alienware M14x: Plain ugly kids toy

So I'm aware that my requirements are quite specific but anyway maybe someone has a good hint. Here's what I'm looking for:

1. What is your budget?
USD 2500.-

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
13 - 14 inch

3. What screen resolution do you want?
1400x1050 - but ok, no more 4:3 available so I'll go for 1600x900

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
hum.. both?

5. How much battery life do you need?
3 hours

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
Yes, preferably with high details

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Office tasks, light photo editing

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
500G

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
4 years at least

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
none

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
Preferably brands with an international service infrastructure, no no-names.

13. What country do you live in?
Switzerland

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.
- Pointing Stick would be prefered over touchpad.
- The screen has to be matte
- 3 years warranty are a must
- The design shouldn't be plain infantile or ugly (Alienware)

I'm sorry, but it seems like you're just throwing money at products in the vain hope that there will be no compromises in performance or portability. We simply aren't at that level of technology.

Check out the ASUS G series notebooks, if you aren't pleased with alienware.

there aren't many laptops left with trackpoints, the rubber nubbins in the middle of the keyboard. In fact, aside from the Dell Latitudes and the IBM laptops, I didn't know there were any left. And since those are both business class machines, they aren't likely to have gaming GPUs in them.
