Hello there,I want to buy a new laptop and I have a couple of questions.I have a gaming pc at home(gaming beast to be honest) and I want to buy a cheap laptop for minecraft, team fortress 2 and roblox. Now,I do not need anything special because I already have my pc for hardcore games but I wanted to achieve at least 35-40 fps while recording or maybe a little more in minecraft while having razer cortex and optifine installed.

I want to buy only one of these laptops

Dell latitude d630:SSD 128gb,4gb ddr2 ram Nvidia Quadro 135m and t9300 2.5 ghz cpu(6mb cache)

or

HP EliteBook 8460p:4-6 gb ram,i5 3rd gen,128gb SSD and Intel hd graphics 3000

Now,I know that the lattitude is not a great choice but if minecraft(1.9 at least) will be playable I will go for that.

Thanks a lot,

Sotiris

Notebookcheck.net actually ranks the Intel HD 3000 above the nVidia Quadro 135m in performance. They are both ranked as "Class 5" in terms of performance with the Intel HD 3000 being higher in the list. While there are some game benchmarks for the Intel HD 3000, there are none for the Quadro 135m.

Below are links to both of them. The "Class" column is in the middle of the page where Notebookcheck.net ranks the performance of GPUs and graphics cores based on actual game benchmarks or assumed performance based only on the specs.

The Intel HD 3000 can be used to play Minecraft (based on Youtube videos), but I don't know if you will get the performance you want while recording gameplay unless you are using an external hardware device to do the recording like an AverMedia Portable.
