I have a small house and kids so I need a gaming computer that is portable around the house but not portable backpack portable. I have a gaming desk in my room that I have a decent QHD 1440 monitor. I want to spend no more than $1500. I want everything but size doesn’t matter, and battery life doesn’t matter.

I have been directed to the asus zephyrus g14. It seems great but it takes a hit on the graphics card for size. I want the most gaming (GPU). Anyone direct me in the right direction?

The number of variables and cost range is dizzying.

Thanks for any help!

I have the Lenovo Legion Y540 and I am very happy. i7-9750H with RTX 2060. It goes for about $1300. It also has 16GB RAM and a 512 M.2 SSD. I added a 2TB SATA SSD for more games storage.

When you say "most gaming GPU" do you mean an RTX 2080?

You should search "best gaming laptop 2020" and write down the 2-3 that catch your eye...check reviews on YouTube, then see what deals you can find on your favorite 1 or 2....

Some things may also be more important to you.... like 144MHz monitor, or other features.
