The Sager he is looking at will run circles around the Asus for only a little more. (no offense)

600 is ALOT more not a little..

i still say you cant beat my deal! Unless your running crysis warhead you wont really be able to tell a huge difference between the sager and the asus.

Anyone have any input on Xoticpc.com i read some reviews online and i found a lot of people saying they had horrible experiences with them, think its worth a little more and buying directly from sager ?

I realize I am a bit late to this conversation but I saw that matt1990 said he wanted portability and battery performance in his laptop also. Based on that, I will recommend the Asus N81Vp-C1, which can be found here for $1200: http/www.amazon.com/N81Vp-C1-14-1-Inch-Processor-Graphics-Premium/dp/B001TGPH9S and here for $1300: http/www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220510&Tpk=ASUS%20N81Vp-C1. I realize the Sager will run circles around this laptop, but he also gets the best 14-incher out there, 2 hours and 20 minutes of battery life, only 5.5 pounds of weight, and a laptop that will still play F.E.A.R. at 84 fps and Far Cry 2 at 49.5 fps (which are very playable).

I am currently in the market for a laptop (never owned one before). I am looking for something in the $800-1500 range that would be able to play some of the newer online games out there, it doesn't need to be top of the line or anything like that, but something reliable that will work.

You may be over reacting, but in the end it is your choice. If you really aren't comfortable buying from xotic, just use the Sager page since they are only a little more expensive.

You could also use PCTorque. Their price actually seems on par with Xotic.
