Looking for a good gaming laptop

Hi guys, I just got into med school and I wish to buy a gaming laptop. Budget is around 2500usd, give or take 100-200 dollars. I've researched a lot and came down to alienware 15 (2015). I don't wish to exceed the 15'' screen size so I did not compare the 17'' models.
Kindly help me buy a good gaming laptop which can handle games like the battlefield 4, watch dogs, GTA V, etc at 1080p

Personally I have always dreamed of owning an origin pc, but never got around to it because I just don't find gaming on a laptop to be at all a rewarding experience.

Are you sure I should not go for the alienware 15 or clevo p650se or a gigabyte p35x v2?

Assuming if I buy a custom laptop from the above mentioned sites, how would I be certain of the fact I won't run into loud fan problems or the over heating issues common in gaming laptops

Cos I read reviews by credible people. And the laptops are really talked about so these are properly dissected by the reviewers already.

My personal opinion is to go for an asus rog series laptop or to go with a barebone laptop like sagar.
