-i don't know..depends

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?

-more of a desktop replacement if possible

5. How much battery life do you need?

-Not really important since It would spend more time plugged

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?

-mostly online MMORPG's.Well the high settings would be most wanted but with my budget I can settle with medium or low as long as its fluent. I'd also probably play some using emulators

- just simple video/photo editing and of course watching movies, using MS office, browsing the net

Thank you for the link and the product seems to be a good buy. But I'm concerned with the durability of Acer. I've heard quite a lot of not so good feedbacks regarding acer. What do you think about acer then?

I agree with you on the poor build quality skepticism. All I focused on were the hardware specs.

The HP dv6 WR2 mentioned is for you. From my experience, HP didn't disappoint me when it comes to durability.

The 5650 should be able to handle WoW in high settings as shown in this video.

Note that the laptop in the video has better hardware specs. However, you should be getting only a few frames difference.

Make sure to read the feedbacks.

My old laptop is a compaq model which when I bought it was already turned over to HP. Its been quite good for these past 4 years. I was wishing to get something not too over expensive but with a midrange discrete gpu. I looked up your HP link but its already out of stock and deactivated.

So yeah, I'm back to square one again.
