Lenovo's Ideapad Y series are meant for gaming in laptop form. That's a nice one for $850 and you can potentially get it with free 2 day shipping if you do a trial for shoprunner.

The advantage of the laptop aside from the pretty impressive CPU is its video card setup. The GT 650m inside is a pretty good laptop GPU in its own right but the impressive feature here is that it's in 2 way SLI. If you don't know what SLI is, it's a way in which 2 graphics cards are connected to work in unison with each other as one superb graphics card with theoretically double the performance.

As for benchmarks, expect to play pretty much any game on high settings at 1920x1080 with good frame rates, and a few games on ultra settings.

Just remember to enable SLI in the Nvidia control panel. I had a friend who got a similar model laptop from Lenovo and for a while didn't enable it not realizing what he was missing out on.

Overall it's a solid gaming laptop for sure. The only issue is, occasionally SLI might cause problems in some games. Typically most of these problems, namely microstuttering, has been fixed by Nvidia's drivers, but it's always possible to experience a game that hasn't been fully optimized for SLI. If that's the case, just disable SLI in the Nvidia control panel and turn it back on when you want to play a different game.
