Hey guys, since you were all such an amazing help last time I wanted to buy some tech, I thought I'd come back, I am interested in buying a laptop, I am just starting my IB course and a laptop is very useful, but I also like to game.

I have a budget of 1000 New Zealand Dollars, which is 777 of your USD, but bearing mind that tech is alot more expensive here than the US, let's say 700 USD.

I want a laptop I can do work on (Web browsing, Word Processing etc.), but also one I can play games on, mainly basic games such as Minecraft, TF2 and maybe Civ 5. No BF4, Crysis or ACU.

I also need to have a good feeling laptop, with a decent screen, nice feeling keyboard and one that will last till I'm well into University.

Price is a big factor for me, 700 is my budget, but I would prefer to spend less.

Thanks,
Geekernatir

Both of those look a tad overpowered, a 2GB dedicated graphics is very good, but I think down a notch would be better with a cheaper price tag.

JB hifi is a fine website to look on as well.
