$800 max, $700-$750 ideal

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?

14-15.6 but i will consider 13 if it's not very noticeable compared to 14, and 17 if light

3. What screen resolution do you want?

900p or 1080p, no 768p

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?

portable, needs to have a lot of power though

5. How much battery life do you need?

6-9+ horus

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?

yes, i want to play games on medium and high settings, will play minecraft and mmorpg games, might play elder scrolls and some other popular xbox games on pc as well do dedicated graphics is a must (630m+ is best)

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)

word processing, programming, etc.

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?

500gb+ will be fine

a basic one, aint nobody got money for blu ray

1. lenovo for build quality
2. samsung as it fits everything i need (no options atm for some reason)
3. asus for obvious reasons

no toshiba. crap build quality, crap value, limited hardware.

backlit keyboard subconsciously required, high end audio is necessary, plan on using headphones so good software for it is nice.

thanks in advance, hopefully there is one that fits my needs, so far all i've found is an hp dv6z-7200.

** i am also considering on waiting until new stuff comes out, but i'm not sure if it's worth waiting for something that may only be a little better **
