Looking for a New Laptop

Should have an outlet most of the time so not a priority.

web browsing, pdf and text document use, watching movies.

1 TB is plenty, more than necessary probably.

Long as possible till it falls apart.

None needed.

Whichever is best suited for my needs. Not Apple.

Full keyboard with dedicated number pad, durable good quality build, at least 3 USB ports and a hdmi output, decent portability with a good quiet cooling system. Also if it comes with a very durable power cable that's a big bonus. Would carry it around in a backpack so if it can be nicely stored there would be great.
Are there kevlar woven laptop power cords?

Most computer with dedicated gpu will be heavy. And integrated gpu is bad for all sorts of gaming. There could be a lighter laptop with dedicated gpu but there wouldn't be much difference

There's all kinds of gaming laptops with a dedicated GPU that are at least 2 pounds lighter than the ASUS you mentioned.

Get a $300 laptop and add an SSD I don't understand why you even looked to spend +$800 on a normal laptop

This costs only $190. If you want something totally new just search for 15.6 inch laptops with new pentium or celeron processors, that is going to be plenty of stuff to work with

It said that it was a perk but not necessary.
Which seemed to produce different answers that what I was looking for.
Also do you know if anyone sells powder adapters with braided kevlar sleeves?
