I'm going to universality majoring in computer engineering and I'm looking for a laptop that can do almost everything (programming,gaming,editing..etc.),Im planing to use the laptop for the next 5+ years... my budget is $2400

The laptops I found
  • Razer Blade 15 with RTX 2070 Max-Q
  • Dell xps 15
  • MSI GS65 Stealth
  • Gigabyte AERO 15

My question to you is, is it smart to buy now, or should I wait? Is there better laptops then the ones I listed that is in my budget?which one is the best from the laptops I listed ?

Thanks!!

The Razer Blade 15 with RTX 2070 is defiantly the best option, but aside from that, here are the winners sorted out:

Display Size: Gigabyte Aero
Display Resolution: Tie, all 1920x1080
RAM: Dell XPS 15 or MSI Stealth 8GB
Max Ram: Tie, all 32GB
Hard Disk: Tie with MSI Stealth and Gigabyte Areo, 512GB
SSD: Razer Blade 15 is the only laptop on the list that has an SSD standard, so none
OS: Tie, all are Windows 10
Graphics: MSI Stealth with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
Weight: Dell XPS is lightest at 1.78kg, MSI stealth follows at 1.88 kg
Dimensions: Gigabyte Aero smallest
Touch Screen: MSI stealth has a touch screen
Processor: MSI Stealth i7 8th Gen
Bluetooth Version: MSI Stealth with bluetooth 5
USB Ports: MSI Stealth AGAIN with 3 usb ports
VGA Ports: Gigabyte Aero with 1
HDMI Ports: MSI Stealth has a mini port and gigabyte has a standard port

If for some reason you despise the Razer Blade 15, here are the things you should buy in stead ranging in the descending order from quality and specifications:

MSI Stealth GS65 is the best option if not buying the Razer Blade 15
Gigabyte Aero has a GTX 1060, this is the best option if you are not buying MSI Stealth GS65
At last, Dell XPS 15 with a GTX 960M and i5
