There's no single answer to that. Give us a bit more info about what you're going to be using this tablet for, and perhaps even how much you were intending to spend. In today's market there's pretty much a good tablet for every budgets and every kind of usage. Just give us the details and I'm sure we can point you in the right direction ;)

it doesnt matter what operating system but i prefer android, and it will be used around the house and on the go , i would like it to be atleast 1080p and have a micro sd port to add more storrage and a decent size screen nothing too small , the bigger the better, i dont want to be picky but i only want to spend below 150

Even at 7'' you'll have trouble finding something at 1080p for that price, unless you're willing to buy used. Your best bet would probably be something like the Nexus 7, which would set you back between 200-250$. Google had a holiday sale on it for 230$, not sure if that's still available.

Otherwise, if you want to stay between the 100-150 price tag you will have to settle for a much, much lower resolution and definitely won't be able to go higher than 7 inches screen. I suggest you have a look at the Asus Memopad 7. Decent 720p screen, good brand although I'm not a huge fan of it myself. It's a budget tablet that is easy to recommend. You get what you pay for, don't expect a Retina display here, but for the price it does very well.

Yeah I agree that a Nexus 7 is probably along the lines of what you are looking for. Maybe the Samsung Galaxy Tab or EVGA Tegra Note 7 would also be fine choices if you want Android. The Dell Venue Android version retails for around the $149 mark so look into that one as well.
