Looking for affordable mp3 player

Hello!
I'm really just looking for a new mp3 player, I'm a bit tired of toting around this old iPhone with no service.
I remember I had an old iPod nano, second generation I think. Absolutely loved it. I'd still use it today, if it didn't have so little space.
More specifically, I don't want a touch screen mp3 player (although I'd like a screen, if at all possible)
I don't have too many preferences, but, here are the few:
No touch screen
Display of some sort
Reasonable space, perhaps 16+
(Perhaps micro SD compatible)
Transfer files through cable, if possible
Reasonable battery life (enough to last fairly good use on a daily basis)
And, naturally, nothing too expensive

Have you checked MP3 players from Phillips? They still produce players with buttons +screens. They are affordable too and audio was pretty good back then (6 years ago). Have a look on eBay =)

I have used a Sansa Fuze for a many years. Very compact, has the screen you want and plays flac files up to CD quality. Never a problem. The newer models should work fine for you.
