Well the Lenovo ain't a gaming laptop as its using HD Graphics 505 which classes it as a office laptop, also can't find the Aspire e5 one anywhere (post a link to the pages)
Also there are no 'cheap' gaming laptops. If you want a gaming laptop your going to have to pay £1000+. Anything that is compact and powerful cost more money. Your going to at least want a GTX 1060 in the laptop but the moment you add that in the price shoots up to £1,300/400.
Also with a laptop in this current gen of tech and games an SSD is a must really unless you like waiting around a lot. This shoots the price up even higher.
I have used Integrated graphics back in 2014 on a dead cheap Medion laptop that had an Haswell i3 & Intel HD graphics 3000.... it could hardly keep 20-30fps on the lowest of setting in valve games and this is at sub 720p. After that experience I have stuck with tower desktops as its easier customize and cheaper. With a laptop you get what you pay for and are pretty much stuck with it for a good number of years.
I agree with previous poster, there's no such thing as a "cheap" gaming laptop - - cheap laptops are only for general & office use.
If you want a high-performance laptop that can handle games, you must be prepared to pay more otherwise you are going to be disappointed.
The best type of computer for gaming is a desktop model with a dedicated, high-performance AMD or Nvidia graphics card, and a decent case with adequate cooling to avoid overheating (something which laptops struggle with because of their lack of space inside).
Cosidering acer aspire e5 475g 541U and lenovo ideapad 320 which is better?
I want my reply based on durability, screen display, design and other basic needs please.
Between those to laptops, the Acer would be more appropriate for playing games since the nVidia 940mx is more powerful than the integrated Intel HD 505 or HD 620 graphics core depending which CPU the Lenovo has. While the 940mx is only considered to be a budget gaming GPU, it is still a lot more powerful than the Intel HD 505 and the Intel HD 620 (the better performing of the two).
Yeah ^ 940mx is decent for casual gaming, you can play newer titles at lowest settings with playable framerates as well. I'd try looking for something with 8th gen CPU and mx150 graphics. Like the acer swift 3 14" i5 8250u, mx150. On sale should be approx. $700usd
