Looking for Gaming laptop around €1000

Hello, im going to buy a laptop. Im going to university to study IT (information technology) so i will be using it for programming and also for gaming. I play games like battlefield, dark souls etc, so i will need something strong and something that will last some years. I dont like small laptops so i think i will need something like 16-17'' +. Also i need some opinions about fan stands or anything thats gonna help with performance. Thanks.

A desktop would beat the laptop in performance... if you're going to stay at the university, I'd recommend a desktop.

My brother took a Razer Blade off to college, he's an engineering major so he needs it to run CAD and games like Diablo 3 and Dark Souls 2 and it runs really well. I'd recommend that.

You need a laptop to bring to classes though.

I dunno man. Colleges are actually pretty up to date with using technology, especially if OP is doing something like engineering of computer science or something similar.

You can build a custom laptop, though... There's also the Thermaltake Level 10 GT, which has a handle for you carry it around. You might need a monitor, though...

I still love the Razer Blade. Not only for the reasons above, but also because it's super portable and compact.

It's only 200 dollars more and it's well worth it.

Cyberpowerpc have cheap and good laptops but they only ship in US, im in Europe. Also the razor blade price is ~ €1500 , its too much for me.
