Looking for a new laptop. 1500+/- not set on a price. It will mainly be used for graphic design and illustration work when im not on the desk top. But id like to reserve gaming on it when necessary. Just looking for some more examples for me to look at. So throw some at me. Id like a 1070 also

Greetings, Dakafall:

It seems it's your lucky day. ASUS is currently offering this ROG with an 8GB GTX1070 for $1,650.

If you can live with a 6GB GTX1060, then these MSIs might be worth looking at...

A laptop with a 1070 will probably be more than 2000$.

Just kicking tires at this point looking for anything else that someone might know of. Also holding out for black friday i think to try to get a good steal. Although not really expecting anything. Theres some good bundle deals on 1060s right now that are interesting also. Since most laptops arent going to push over 1080p. maybe the 1060 would be the much better option.

The MSI you linked looks like a good option. It has fair specs and has been recommended by multiple sites. I would go for that if its ok price wise.

If you can live with a 6GB GTX1060, then these MSIs might be worth looking at:

These are, of couse, gaming machines. If gaming is going to be secondary to graphic design, you might consider a workstation, like this Dell Precision:

http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?ref=215_customize&oc=xctomp751015us_2&model_id=precision-m7510-workstation&c=us&l=en&s=bsd&cs=04

This Dell can be customized with Win10 Pro and an Nvidia Quadro M2000 4GB GPU at $1,682.

Cheers,
GreyCatz.
