Voice mails are not kept on a phone. They are kept on the carrier's/service provider's system/server. So unless you had a specific app that saved them to the phone, they wouldn't have been on the actual phone. They would have been with the carrier/service provider and attached to the phone number you had with them. If you changed carriers/service providers or changed phone numbers they may well be gone. For good.

However, you can try and contact that carrier/service provider and see if they can assist in getting them for you. No one else would be able to.
