Looking to buy a new laptop. Any suggestings?

I'm looking to buy a new laptop. The one I have now is the Dell Inspiron 1501 (I'll most likely sell it) .

I'm looking for a fast laptop, that's good for gaming and college. I'd like it to be under $1000 but I have wiggle room to go higher. (a cheaper price would be great though)

I'd like to have enough space to put all of my Steam games on it and still have a little extra room. (500gb or more)

When I play my games I'd like to play them in the highest quality. I'd like to have a 1080p screen.

I already have Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit that I am using on my current laptop, so I need it to be able to run it.

I don't need this one but if its not too expensive I'd like to have a Blue-Ray Burner in it. (don't need it but would be cool to have.)

Oh and I'd like it in blue. (doesn't matter though)

Does anyone have any suggestions?

How much wiggle room do you have in your budget? $1000 won't quite cut it with that requirement.

I can go up to 1400 and I would like to have NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480M, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470M, or better

I don't think your budget will stretch to a GTX 470M.
You should be able to get a laptop with a GTX 460M or Mobility Radeon HD 5870.
