Looking to install SSD on my HP Laptop

Hello everyone, basically im trying to put my SSD onto my Laptop because its a shit ton faster. At first it wasnt reading the SSD at all but then i fixed that within the BIOS. Now i get blue screen right after the windows logo, i tried to do the windows auto repair 3 times but no luck. Should i just reinstall windows on the SSD will that fix the blue screen?

Could you provide more information on the BSOD? Depending on the cause of the Blue Screen a reinstall may or may not solve the problem.
