That appears to be last year's model, as it has DDR3 ram. The current model has DDR4. I question that it is only 5 months old. Still that is less than half price of a new machine, but also no warranty. It should be able to play those games. IMHO, I would be wary of it, and I myself would probably not buy it.

There are a lot Alienware M17X for sale on Ebay right now. Intel Quad Core 2.5GHz Extreme Edition points to i7-2920XM which is Sandy Bridge launced 1Q 2011. That laptop is at least 6 years old.
