I can see that the most of the people commenting on this article are the ones who pirate the shit. And to answer your question, I don't go out downloading dog shit and then complaining about it douche bag.
 
Pirates are waiting for it to come out on TV so that less then an hour afterwards they can download a high quality one. I should also note that the most the piracy of TV programs come from other countrys other then the one it was first aired in, because people don't want to wait weeks or months for it to be aired elsewhere in the world.

Someone pays to feed that dog, hence it is not free.

I firmly believe that pirates actually have higher standards than 'the rest'. I know many people who download pirated movies but are happy to wait until the BDrip is available, or don't download new music until it's available in flac or the best available vbr mp3 (or simply 320) ... ordinary consumers just buy whatever version they stumble upon (provided they can use the format ofc). Also I suppose drm in BD and WMA are partly responsible in pirates expecting better quality as they're obviously not limited to lower qualities just because of onboard sound cards or lacking a blueray/hddvd player.
