M.2 installation HElP!

So i have bought a m.2 ssd for my laptop and i was wondering if after putting the thing in my laptop is there anything else i need to do?

You'll have to re-install your operating system if you intend to use as your primary storage device.

I just want it as my os drive and my boot drive

You'll have to install Windows again, just like with any other new, primary storage device.
