Question M.2 SATA SSD Not Showing Up in Windows – Need Help

Hi all,

I recently installed an M.2 SATA SSD in my laptop/PC, but Windows does not recognize it. I checked Disk Management, but the drive is not listed.

• The SSD is brand new.
• BIOS shows the drive, but Windows cannot see it.
• I have tried different SATA and M.2 slots.
• Other drives on the system work fine.

Could this be a driver issue, formatting problem, or something else? I’m not sure what to do next. Any suggestions would be very helpful!

exact model of the laptop?
does it show up in device manager?
check storage space?
