Macbook 13 or 15

I'm debating between the retina Macbook pro with 2.6 ghz i5 processor and 512gb ssd and the cheapest retina Macbook pro 15 inch with i7 processor and 2ghz

Get a PC!!! Seriously though, unless for some reason you really, REALLY need a Mac, a PC is a better option. If you must get a Mac, it's really personal preference.

Why do you need a mac? There is a price premium for the Apple logo on the back. Plus, the new i7 Ultrabooks with touch screens are pretty cool.

Speaking from experience, you don't realize how useful and fun a touchscreen laptop is until you have one on front of you, but it really is fantastic for casual use. Try to scroll a webpage using a trackpad, then use your finger. And tell me which you like more

You pay a premium for Apple's laptops because they are pretty damn good. The only reason I'd consider one was because of their resolution. Macbooks have a resolution of 2560x1600 for the 13 and 2880x1800 for the 15, most windows ones have 1080p with a few exceptions but they end up costing the same. The extra speed from their msata ssd is also a nice touch. They are both good but it depends more on your needs. If you need the extra storage get the 13" since you can't replace it. If you need more power get the 15" since it has a quad core.

All three of these have i7 processors, all three have 1080p touch screens. Two of them (XPS 12 and Thinkpad) can be flipped around and used as a tablet which is awesome for just general web browsing.
