This is not true; I've gotten my 13" M2 Air to last longer than this. The problem is that you tested the M2 Air when it first came out and the OS was not optimized. You need to re-test exactly the same and you will see that it last longer than the 15" which is expected. I personally think if you want the larger screen and better sound go with the 15" if you dock 1/2 the time or want that little bit extra from the battery go for the 13".
