Macbook Pro 2016 crack

Goodnight, my Macbook pro 2016 got cracked on the bottom where there writing says Macbook Pro the screen itself is not damaged but I want to know will this affect my screen in the future?

Unlikely. The crack may grow, it may not.
I believe the glass is not bonded to the screen in those models?
Putting some tape over the crack can stop or slow it from growing.
