Solved! Macbook recommendation/advice

Hi all! I’ve been using Apple products for quite a long time, but only iPhone and iPad. Now I want to give Macbook a try. Can you give me some advice/insights that I need to notice as a first time buyer? Thank you so much!

Spend a bit more for extra memory; it can’t be upgraded (just found that out the hard way with my 8Gb MacbookPro [early 2015 model], which I wanted to upgrade to 16Gb.) Enjoy!
