Looking at the model years that are supported, I don't think it's unreasonable to assume that this will be the last version of Mac OS that will support Intel processors.

Yes, I know about open core but my now sold macPro 2,1 was purposely crippled by Jobs and Company so it could never be upgraded without hacks and cracks.
