well, first if you're planning to clone your hdd then make sure both the hdds are of same capacity. there are alternatives to that using some third party software but why would you want to remount the old image.. just load it as a virtual disk and copy all the necessary files.... safe plus a clean fast system!! 😉
I was planning to install a larger HD - 250 vrs the 35 GB. The 2nd disk is a 250 GB that holds all programs and etc, while the 35 is for OS only. Use a USB for back up. Could I partition part of the new drive to be the same size as the original for a work around?
