major upgrades for acer one

I'm beyond disgusted with the performance of my atom 1.66 processor. By the time it's booted, scanned and gotten a Word file open, the battery is half dusted. I am getting more proficient on my Note 3, but there's just more usability with a keyboard and trackpad. What would fit inside this case to bring the speed up markedly? Other cpu's, etc. An SSD?

An ssd would help with performance by a pretty good margin and would even help with battery life.

You wont be able to upgrade cpu, maybe memory if it is not hard soldered to the board.

So I'll be looking for a compatible ssd. Can add 1 more GB RAM, but don't see that making much difference for the money. Thanks for your input.
