you could make the ringtones louder if you want to SSH your phone. The reason I say this is because you could get the ringtone and export it into a media editing program and then amplify the volume of the ringtone and then import it back into the phone. I can't remember if you can amplify it in itunes.

Yes you can amplify in Itunes. but i agree also
