Have tried it - seems to be a impedance mis match - computer input to speaker is different than 4 ohm car speaker. Also the Craig has internal amp. Works fine on my laptop.

What exactly is this "4 ohm car radio output" you're trying to connect to? Is it a pre-amp output from the radio with some sort of jack on the end of it? How do the speakers normally connect to your laptop?
