The processing power of your PC has absolutely nothing to do with the storyline of a particular game running on a particular platform. When I first built my PC it was top-of-the-line. It also cost 5x more than what a 360 costs today, and that price is even higher when you take into account all the upgrades I've done over the years. But no matter how good/bad my PC is today, it won't let me play cross-platform with my friends on a console. It also won't let me play console-exclusive games, just like a console can't play PC-exclusives. Each platform has its place; arguing that one is better than the other is pointless. Consoles are meant to reach the masses who can afford a few hundred bucks to game, not to appeal to those who need to drop $2K on a PC every other year to have the best possible graphics.

Psh, 2004 already called and said they didn't even want it back. Either way, it plays games just fine (and I'm the pickiest person I game with when it comes to framerate - less than 40fps is unplayable). And the best part: it costs so little to maintain! Upgrading (or replacing a failed part) one part per year, while avoiding top-of-the-line is amazingly cheap, yet provides a solid gaming platform. You know, you'd probably be a lot less crabby if you didn't spend so much of your money on your PC build...

So this is like version 77.5 of the Xbox. Geez they change colors and sizes and finish and everything else. Then they abandon those that bought an older system by coming out with something new because their previous models overheated or got the red ring. If MS didnt make such crap, then they would need to improve their systems every season. I'm a former Xbox fan that has seen the light. PS3 is premium and has much better and larger library of exclusives. You also get free content on PSN, unlike Live which charges you for everything. Plus PS3 just dropped down in price. You can't beat the price for a an amazing game system and Blu Ray player.

Glossy only works on hot women in black plastic leather (pleather) outfits. I find the matte finish very nice, especially on a victory motorcycle painted a nice deep black. I'll have to go look at the console just to see it in person and stick my fingers all over the glossy one....

Coming up with the release on ideas of it is anyones guess, but in the meantime , you still have shiny, which think be a first buy for it all.

Or release even a theme of the original Xbox but new and maybe shiny since it was matte, yes?

Might have to wait for the next version release, by then will probably be too old to even get one to say but still. Ideas are alwys interesting. Or not ya know, just kinda whatever is more affordable.

Price changes usually come and go on the idea.

To say of the interest of just expensive stuff finds its place only at certain ages is anyones guess. Guess buying 3 and using as one or something would be more fitting. Idk.
