I'm trying to build my new configuration system for Maya, and I am willing to buy Intel’s new Xeon Clovertown 5355. All seems easy, (with performance of these chips when we talk about rendering performance) but now, I saw on 'gamepc.com' and other sites that Maya (not depending of versions) do not recognize 8 cpus. It's clear that she recognize only 4 cpus.
My question is, if all of them had some problems with registration in Maya to use a multicpu option, or simply there's not yet today version of Maya that can support this hardware.
